Dinh II

Location: Palace II is located on a high hill 1.540m in Tran Hung Dao Street, the center of Dalat city, 2km to the south east.
Features: Palace II, also known as Governor palace, the residence and work of Governor Decoux annual summer, from May to October.
Palace II was built in 1933 is a magnificent castle furnished rooms, including 25 ultra-luxurious. Standing here, visitors can see the Xuan Huong Lake about 1km away from the flickering through the foliage information.
 
From the date of transfer of this Government working Governor, Decoux have built secret tunnels very solidly to ensure absolute safety for him and his family. This tunnel is connected to the cellar with about 1.5m width and height than 1m and many nooks sure concrete was poured.
 
Under Ngo Dinh Diem Dinh II became the resting place of the family Ngo Dinh Nhu. In 1964, when Gen. Nguyen Khanh to power in the political context of uncertainty, he chose the Palace II as headquarters of the holiday season and for renovations, building secret tunnels to take the hillside under southeast and northwest of the main island in case there.
