Hanoi Arrival – City Tour – Overnight Train to Lao Cai (L, D)

Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport around 12:00 pm, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. Alternatively, you may choose to explore one of Hanoi’s fascinating museums, such as the Hilton Prison Museum, the Military History Museum, or the Museum of History.

Continue to Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter, where you will visit Ngoc Son Temple and the iconic Huc Bridge (if time permits).

Dinner at a local restaurant. In the evening, transfer to the train station for the overnight train to Lao Cai (departure around 8:30 pm, arrival 5:00 am).

Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat Village (B)

Upon arrival at Lao Cai train station (approximately 6:00 am), a vehicle will be waiting to transfer you to Sapa. Though the distance is only 38 km, the scenic drive up the mountains takes about one hour.

After breakfast and check-in at your hotel (early check-in subject to availability), embark on a guided walking tour to Cat Cat Village, home to the H’Mong ethnic minority. Stroll along charming mountain trails, meet local villagers, and experience their traditional lifestyle.

Overnight in Sapa.

Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Overnight Train to Hanoi (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full-day trekking tour through the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley. The trail leads to the villages of Lao Chai (Black H’Mong people) and Ta Van (Dzay people). Along the way, admire terraced rice fields, breathtaking mountain landscapes, and meet friendly locals.

Return to Sapa in the afternoon for leisure before transferring back to Lao Cai railway station. Dinner at a local restaurant. Board the overnight train back to Hanoi (departure around 9:00 pm, arrival 5:00 am).

Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay Cruise (B, L, D)

07:45 – 08:30: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter (for guests using our shuttle bus/car).
12:30 pm: Arrive at Hon Gai Harbor, Ha Long City. Transfer to Cristina Diamond Cruise by tender.
12:45 pm: Welcome drink and cabin check-in.
13:30 pm: Begin cruising through the spectacular Bai Tu Long Bay while enjoying a buffet lunch on board.

15:30 pm: Explore Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Choose between a bamboo boat ride or kayaking to discover the daily life of the local fishing communities.
16:30 pm: Swim and relax at Ban Chan Beach.
17:30 pm: Sunset party with Happy Hour (5:30 – 7:30 pm) as the boat anchors overnight at Cong Dong – Cong Do area.
18:00 pm: Join a Vietnamese cooking class on board.
19:30 pm: Dinner served on board.
21:00 pm: Free time for squid fishing, board games, karaoke (on request), or relaxing at the sundeck bar with a wide selection of wines and cocktails (surcharge applies).

Overnight on cruise.

Bai Tu Long Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

06:30 am: Start the day with a Tai Chi session on deck.
07:00 am: Buffet breakfast on board.
07:45 am: Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, known for its unique stalactites and stunning formations.
09:30 am: Check out of your cabin and relax on the sundeck or enjoy a fruit-carving demonstration.
10:30 am: Savor an à la carte lunch while cruising back toward the harbor.
12:00 pm: Disembark at Hon Gai Harbor and return to Hanoi.
16:00 – 17:00 pm: Arrive in Hanoi. Dinner on your own.

Hanoi – Departure (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Free time at leisure until your transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight.
